The Court Report

The Richardson County Court House has been busy this week.  First saw the sentencing of a Black Rock man accused of assaulting his former boss.  Michael Tyson was sentenced to 20 years in the state penitentiary.  Mr. Tyson worked in Black Rock at the ophthalmologist lab.  His former boss, Seymour Clearly, was still hospitalized when the sentence was announced.

"I was framed!" screamed Tyson as he made a complete spectacle of himself after the sentence was read.

After several Blanchard Springs citizens felt like they had been taken to the cleaners several suits were filled today against local dry cleaner Dee Stain.  Ms. Stain says that there is nothing to fear and that it will all come out in the wash.

The overheard confession from alleged arsonist Bessy O'Leary will not be admitted in court.  Blanchard Spring Detective  Bill Childers overheard O'Leary's confession to her priest.  The fact that her confession began with "Bless me father for I have singed" is not be admissible in court.

Finally, today former Blanchard Springs Pharmacist Ras Putten was charged with attempted man slaughter after giving out the wrong medication to area diabetic "Sweet" Bradd Waggoner.

"I can't believe that they think that this was intentional.  It will never stand up in court". said Putten's attorney.

When asked the accused said, "It was a bitter pill to swallow".
